I got spat at!

I am just so angry now! On my way home earlier, while on the escalator, some bonkers senior citizen started mumbling something in a certain dialect... Then suddenly, she just turned and spat at me! (I was standing next to her on the escalator) At the moment, I simply didn't know what to do!

Worse was that my b/f seemed to accuse me of provoking that senior citizen and not walking together with him! Sigh! Not a word of comfort...

Are the differences between man and woman so great? Maybe it's just my unlucky day...
