Last day of school

It's the last day of school today! I'm having mixed feelings... on one hand I'm so glad the whole academic year is finally over. I survived yet another year! On the other hand, I think I'm going to miss my kids. Yes, they may be naughty and drive me up the wall most times but all of them are sweet and adorable in their own ways.

We had a rehearsal for the annual prize giving (which will be held tomorrow) today. The grand finale was a song by the P6 students dedicated to all the teachers. Accompanying the song was a video clip of the teachers and students' daily interactions. Wah... I tell you!! It was so touching, I could almost feel the tears.

These are the moments when I feel that teaching is my calling and have made a difference to a young person's life. *Gives myself a pat on the back*
