Another wedding

I attended another wedding (Wedding 3 of 6) on Sunday. This one is a classmate from JC as well as hall mate. It was fun meeting up with many people.. and as we always call it, another class outing. Unfortunately, not the entire class turned up.

Of this and that

It's the school holidays! Been back for the whole of last week for meetings and strategic planning and other stuff. Boring! Finally the exciting stuff can begin cos I'm officially off from school for about a month! Yippee!

Have some 'projects' on hand to do over this holidays.

1) Help friend design a back drop for her piano concert (I wonder if I can create anything decent)
2) Oversee renovations at my new flat (I finally got the keys back from HDB)

Of course, I must fine time here and there to do some Christmas shopping and preparing for the new school year.

Last day of school

It's the last day of school today! I'm having mixed feelings... on one hand I'm so glad the whole academic year is finally over. I survived yet another year! On the other hand, I think I'm going to miss my kids. Yes, they may be naughty and drive me up the wall most times but all of them are sweet and adorable in their own ways.

We had a rehearsal for the annual prize giving (which will be held tomorrow) today. The grand finale was a song by the P6 students dedicated to all the teachers. Accompanying the song was a video clip of the teachers and students' daily interactions. Wah... I tell you!! It was so touching, I could almost feel the tears.

These are the moments when I feel that teaching is my calling and have made a difference to a young person's life. *Gives myself a pat on the back*

It's been dull...

Haven't been posting for some time. Nothing really egg-citing happening.

Perhaps the only memorable event was the wedding I attended on Saturday. Finally, the first of the old hags has been married off! It was quite a different wedding from the norm. It was held in the lawn of Raffles Hotel. Unfortunately, it rained in the pre-dawn hours of that day and the wedding vanue was changed to the function room instead. What a waste! Nonetheless, the rest of the hags and I enjoyed ourselves. The food at the reception was simply yummy-licious! Congrats to this old hag and her hubby.

It's a good week

It's a good week today. 2 public holidays in a week.. and it's spread out on every alternate day!! How I wished it was like this every week!
