Keeping the house clean

The husband woke up super early and started cleaning the mirrors and glass, wiped the table tops, mopped the floor and cleaned the toilet without being asked to... I was amazed at his behaviour... Then I realized it because his friends are coming over later....

I should ask his friends to come visit more often! Hahaha..

Is it gonna hurt?

Is labour gonna hurt? The way the nurses and gynae have prepared me seems like I'm going to have trillions of pimples being squeezed all at the same time (or maybe worse?) ... oh man! How am I to endure it?

Silence

Sometimes, silence can be so deafening that any kind of noise (like that of the Chinese Wayang going on downstairs) is more than welcomed to fill the void...

Hear the Little Girl Sing That Song!

Somewhere Over the Rainbow

Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high
There's a land that I heard of
Once in a lullaby

Somewhere over the rainbow
Skies are blue
And the dreams that you dare to dream
Really do come true

Some day I'll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where troubles melt like lemondrops
Away above the chimney tops
That's where you'll find me

Somewhere over the rainbow
Bluebirds fly
Birds fly over the rainbow
Why then, oh why can't I?
Some day I'll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where troubles melt like lemondrops
Away above the chimney tops
That's where you'll find me

Somewhere over the rainbow
Bluebirds fly
Birds fly over the rainbow
Why then, oh why can't I?

If happy little bluebirds fly
Beyond the rainbow
Why, oh why can't I?

Never been there...

I've never been to St James Power Station, the apparent most happening night spot in the country. Yes, I know many people who havn't been there either... BUT that's not the point. The point is, I want to go but can't go!

Why? At my present state, I wonder if I'll be allowed entry by the bouncers (I'm not even talking about the Ladies Night ok!). The husband will not be too pleased about it too... And even if I do go, what can I do there other than inhale 2nd hand smoke that the smokers will be emitting at the entrance (since they can't smoke inside anymore), or trying to avoid being knocked into by the people dancing. Or perhaps just looking at the Klutz 'fertilizing' the plants after having too much a drink?

Boo hoo hoo...
