No PE?!?!

I received my 2007 timetable on Thursday. I didn't get any PE lessons! How can this be? I mean I've always been the more 'athletic' ones among my friends. And I was playing sports all the way till uni days with all the IBG and IHG stuff. How can they not give me any PE periods? Now I'll have no weapon against my students!

The management must be thinking that

1) I'm too fat... hence no amount of exercise can help me lose weight and keep fit.
2) I'm too fit... and they need to get those 'slacker' teachers to be fitter too.
3) I'm going to get pregnant soon.. just because I've changed my title to Mrs.

Nahhhh.....

Bye 2006

31 Dec 2006... the last day of 2006... This year has been an eventful one for me. Loads of ups and downs.

When I look back now, those down times weren't that bad. I weathered the storm and it certainly has made me a better person. It never occurred to me that I can be a very strong person in bad times. Neither did it occur to me that my faith was strong enough to see me through the rough patches. During those very trying moments, I realised that I do have a group of friends I can always rely on. Thanks gals!!

Ok ok, before you start to think that the year had been so bad, that wasn't exactly the case. There were good times too... I just have to think very hard to remember them. Hahaa..

I've never really made new year resolutions but I made an exception for 2007. I actually made 4 resolutions. I hope I can stick by them. Maybe I should add one more resolution to the list.

Resolution 5: I resolve to realize my new year resolutions =)

My dear readers, here's wishing you a great year ahead. Remember to give thanks for each new day.

Wedding Pictures

Ok ok.. I've added some weding pictures taken by my 'chiong' photographer. The original ones are still not ready, so I got to wait wait and wait. In the meantime, enjoy these.

3rd week as Mrs

I think three weeks have passed since The Wedding. Many friends and relatives had asked me during the Christmas gatherings how married life has been so far.

Oh well, I guess the most significant difference is that I get to see The Husband every day. Back in those days, we would only meet on weekends. So I'm quite enjoying that part... BUT seeing the same guy everyday can be quite errr... boring (is this the right word to use?) sometimes. I've decided that I still need to maintain my active social life. So gals, ask me out for dinner and supper, shopping and gossip sessions!

The most draining part would have to be the housework that comes along cos my house isn't exactly that small. Not that is a mansion but the cleaning sure kills! It takes me about an hour to sweep/vacuum and mop the $@!)^!# floor!!! I'm such a neat freak that I can't even stand a strand of hair on the floor. Serves me right!

Then there's the washing too. It's been raining on and off lately and my clothes can't dry in time. I'm going to buy The Husband more home clothes so that he won't be coming to me and telling me that he has no more clean clothes to wear....

Bye folks! I'm off to attack the sales at the shops on Boxing Day!

Joy to the world!

Christmas Day is over but most people forget that Christmas is celebrated for a period of 12 days... which means, its only the 2nd day since Christ's birth some 2000 years ago. I feel that Christmas is so commercialized these days that almost everyone celebrates it by having some form of gathering or party. Not to mention the crazy sale in the shopping centres...

So, lets take a step back and truely appreciate the significance of Christmas.

Joy to the world, the Lord is come!
Let earth receive her King;
Let every heart prepare Him room,
And heaven and nature sing,
And heaven and nature sing,
And heaven, and heaven, and nature sing.

Joy to the world, the Savior reigns!
Let men their songs employ;
While fields and floods, rocks, hills and plains
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat, repeat, the sounding joy.

No more let sins and sorrows grow,
Nor thorns infest the ground;
He comes to make His blessings flow
Far as the curse is found,
Far as the curse is found,
Far as, far as, the curse is found.

He rules the world with truth and grace,
And makes the nations proveThe glories of His righteousness,
And wonders of His love,
And wonders of His love,
And wonders, wonders, of His love.

We've broken up...

K2 has her own blog now, so I've officially taken over this blog.... The Klutz Reigns!! In case you want to view K2's blog, here's the web address http://kwaychup.blogspot.com/

Merry Christmas

Went shopping in town with K2 yesterday. The crowd was terrible. Everywhere was packed and everyone seemed to be buying something! Of course, I was there for some last minute shopping too. Didn't complete my Christmas shopping though. Didn't know what to buy. I hate buying for the sake of buying, especially stuff like chocolates and stuffed toys... but of course, I will buy them when I'm really desperate. Oh well, here's wishing everyone a Merry Christmas. Christ is born!

I'm back

Hey hey... I'm back... The wedding is finally over. Just came back from my little trip. Trying to settle down before school starts after Christmas.

The only problem is that the internet connection at my new place is still not working. Hence, I've got no connection to the outside world =(
