I have an audience

I have an audience. There are people (other than K2) reading this blog!

Must be because of the previous post, I've got an anxious friend who called me 3 times and left me an sms yesterday.

Muahahaha.... I think I should have more of such posts to excite my audience... right, Pauline? *winks*

9th Dec 2006

The date has been set for next year. Told my parents about it already and they didn't seem to make an objection (yet). Now I can slowly take my time to plan for other things.

It's been mentioned again

Yes. It's been mentioned again. One of my boys wrote in his journal (its an exercise book where students can pen their thoughts / questions / experiences etc ) that his Malay Cikgu is prettier than me!

In his exact words ' Cikgu F is pretty than Miss Beh ' (pardon his bad English)

Boo hoo hoo!!! What's wrong with these boys?

Snow Wolf Lake

And the tian1 wang2 has once again proved his prowess..I watched the highly acclaimed Snow Wolf Lake yesterday, and for the full 3.5 hours, I was totally captivated by Jacky Chueng's voice. His voice (although slightly hoarse from singing for 3 consecutive nights, probably)captured all of the emotions that his character required him to portray, and every time he sang, I just lost track of everything else around me, and got lost in his soulful voice..

The storyline of Snow Wolf Lake is simple enough-- a Chinese version of Romeo and Juliet, with the 2 lead characters (ah lang--wolf, and xiao xue--Snow) facing many obstacles in the course of their relationship, with their relationship ultimately ending in the tragic death of Snow and the suicide of Wolf. However, the moving performances of Jacky Cheung, and his co-stars Yvonne Hsu and Chen Song Ling more than compensated for the simple plot behind this musical. I must say I was pretty impressed by Chen Song Ling's singing. Never knew she could sing!!.. In fact, I think I preferred her singing to lead actress Yvonne Hsu (whose voice is a tinge too sweet, I feel)...

Yup, the 3.5 hours in the Indoor Stadium felt very surreal, as I immersed myself into the beautiful and moving singing of the characters.. it certainly was worth the $$!..

>> one of THE BEST musical I've seen.

Rain, rain go away!

It's raining very heavily and I can't go to school... I hate it when it rains and I have to force myself out of the house. I just hate carrying an umbrella, walking through the puddles and trying to keep the ends of my pants dry. I'd rather sleep in anytime but I can't!

Rain, rain go away... come again another day.

The truth?

I had a conversation with Abednego on Friday.

Abednego: Miss Beh, why (are) you so pretty today?
Me: I am pretty everyday!
Abednego: No! Only today! (very insistently)

I almost fainted! Such blatant truth! Is it because of my balding hair or what? Then I realized I was not in my usual PE attire which I don 3x a week but in a skirt and blouse... tsk tsk!

As I was complaining to a fellow colleague, she comforted me by saying that at least I looked pretty once (which was that day!)

Why can't anyone be nice to me? Sometimes the truth hurts.. but I shall continue to delude myself. At last I've got my b/f on my side (or I hope).

I'm stressed!

I can feel the stress level building up again. Exams are starting in about three weeks and there seems to be an endless amount of syllabus to cover! Not only that, there's the revision papers that needs to be completed soon. I forsee that there'll be lots to mark these days. Arghhh...

I wonder why the teachers are the ones who seem more stressed that the students during this period... (at least it applies to primary school students)

show me the frogs!

I had loads of this back in 2001, when I was holidaying in Western Europe.. and I LOVED it!.. sadly, I couldn't find it when I came back home.. (after combing all the supermarkets here).

Well. Looks like there may be a glimmer of hope for me now.. an expert (specialising in ALL fields..or so he claims) has firmly vowed to find it for me by hook or by crook...

Well, let's see if he can fulfil this mammoth challenge that awaits him... kekekek...

*rubs hands gleefully in anticipation*

yes, the hands..

It is very interesting that you brought this up..and you're right, K1.. somehow the hands of a guy are quite an important (and attractive) feature.. but *hehheh* not in the same way as how it turns you on, my dear..

Somehow, a hand with nice slender fingers >> proportionate to the guy's built, of course << (and neatly trimmed nails) has some attractive power over me.. it's quite an unexplainable effect, but I certainly find such hands very irresistable.. ahahaa....

yea... other than the all important fingers, the other feature that absolutely drives me nuts is the smile and of course, the requisite dimple to go with it..ahaa.. (yes at this point, I can imagine some of my friends snorting with laughter..)but really. It simply cheers me up to see that smile or that laugh that crinkles up the dude's face, and brings out his dimple.. =)

A guy's hand

Decided to give myself a well-deserved break after tediously marking 8 compositions!! *Clap Clap*

I remember someone ever asked me which part of a man I first notice. Different people give different answers.. it could be the the eyes, the built, the smile etc etc.

For me, I'll notice a guy's hand first. I think I've got something for a man's hand that has distinctive vein lines! Well, that was when I was in university.

Subsequently, I zoomed to the 4th finger to see if that guy's attached. If there was no ring (and if I had a crush on that guy) then it may mean some kind of chance for me. But this can be pretty deciving as not everyone wears a ring. Some wear a ring 'for fun'.

Anyway, I noticed that my tastes have shifted again! The first thing I notice about a guy now is the presence of a ring on the 4th finger! Not that I'm looking for a fling or sort. I just think that married guys suddenly seem so desirable. Maybe thats what the term forbidden fruit means.. Hee hee.

Opps.. I suddenly feel like a sinner... tsk tsk!

It came and went

It came and went with a blink of the eye. I can't recall anything that I did that made it fly past me so quickly. I waited for its arrival with much anticipation and now all I could do is to see it slip by me slowly but surely. And there is still so much to be done.

I shall wait for it to come again in December ... But till then, when is the next public holiday?

my lifebook

my new toy =)

It always amazes me how people can bother to flock to Suntec and squeeze with a zillion other like-minded kiasu Singaporeans at the Comex fair, hoping to squeeze as many freebies as they can out of the vendors...

But on Friday, I was one of the zillions of kiasu fellas trying to get a good bargain for a notebook. And after a good 1.5 hours or so (EXCLUDING the time I spent analysing the stack of flyers)making my way through the crowds, I finally decided on a Fujitsu Lifebook (thanks to some psycho-ing from my *thank goodness* IT savvy friend). Yes, I'm going to eat grass for the next one month now...*sigh*, but oh well..I'm one happy gal!..haha
