Step-by-step guide to eating those fists

Gabriel as taken a liking to eating his fist lately. It started at his 2nd month when he would place his thumb into his mouth. These days, he has progressed to stuffing the whole fist into his tiny mouth! Disgusting!

First, he makes sure that the coast his clear ie: mummy is not around

Then he tests water by starting with his thumb first.

Next, he tries to stuff as much of his fist in as possible! Lastly, he seals the deal by making those 'zut zut' sounds. It's a fist likin' good!

Ga-briel or Gay-briel

A little history before I go on to the main purpose of this entry:

The meaning of the name Gabriel is God Is My Strength
The origin of the name Gabriel is Hebrew

Gabriel, archangel, the divine herald. In the Bible he appears to Daniel (twice), to Zacharias, and to the Virgin Mary in the Annunciation (Dan. 8.16; 9.21; Luke 1.19,26,27). Christian tradition makes Gabriel the archangel trumpeter of the Last Judgment (1 Thes. 4.16). In art and literature Gabriel is mainly treated as the angel of the Annunciation. In the Annunciation he often carries a lily, properly the symbol of the Virgin. He is often represented on churches with trumpet raised and facing east, ready to proclaim the second coming of Christ. Feast: Sept. 29 (jointly with other archangels: are superior or higher-ranking angels)

I have been calling my son Gay-briel... until recently then I realised that I might have been pronouncing his name wrongly.

Should it be Ga-briel? Or is it Gay-briel as most locals would call it? I dunno! I have been trying to search websites but can't find any with those on how to pronunce names.

Mmmm... Ga-briel sounds rather odd and somehow sissy to me... Gay-briel sounds more 'normal'!

Help!! What should he be called?

The factory is closing down!

I've decided to close down the milk factory. Have been contemplating it for a long time now and have finally decided. I had initially wanted to hold on for as long as I could but I guess it's taking a toil on me, especially since I went back to work.

Everyday, I've got to spend an hour+ expressing it out (that means waking up earlier and sleeping later than everyone in the household) and when he cries, I've got to stop everything and tend to him, continuing again when he's appeased. Then I've got to rush around the house like a mad woman cos I'm running late for work. It's worse in school. My free periods are devoted to being mummy cow. Sometimes, it could be a rush too, ensuring that I finish before my next lesson.

Perhaps its for my own selfish reasons, but I'll like to think that the time I can free up could lead to more time spent with Gab, more sleep --> which translates to being more patient with him at times...

Just hope that the winding up would be hassle and complication free... It's not nice feeling engorged all over again!

Botak Wong

My boy spotting a new hairdo, or rather the lack of hairdo in this case. He was dropping hair, resulting in very ugly bald patches here and there on his head. Hence I decided to shave it all off and we shall start putting brandy on his scalp to speed his hair growth! If all else fails, there are those hair growth centres as a back-up plan. Haha...
