Funny answers

I’ve got quite a lot of marking to clear this holiday so as I was marking my back lock today I came across this answer that tickled me.

A little background on the worksheet first. It’s a Science worksheet on changes at puberty. This topic is not exactly taught in the syllabus, it sort of an enrichment to the topic in the textbook.

So, one of the questions went: Besides the changes mentioned above (eg: height increases, armpit hair starts to grow etc), what other (physical) changes will occur in both boys as well as girls?

One of my boys wrote: Both develop feelings towards the opposite sex.

Haha…. Not one of the suggested answers but I think he’s got quite a point! Maybe that’s when puppy love come into play!

New computer... Akan Datang!

I just went to the so-very-crowded PC Show today and booked myself a new computer! Yeh yeh! I didn’t buy those very high-end kind of PC since I only needed it for some basic computer functions and not for gaming. Still I’m kinda excited cos I no longer have to share this malfunctioned notebook (the enter key and arrow keys are not working at all!) with The Husband anymore. Neither do I have to lug home my school notebook to do work every weekend anymore… BUT I’ve got to wait another 2.5 weeks before they’ll deliver the PC to me though…

Driving Ethics

It's been almost a month since I started regular driving. Not enjoying too much I must say... especially when there is someone beside me giving me a running commentary on the road conditions and rating my driving at that particular instant. Like I'm not driving fast enough, not switching lanes quickly, not accelerating soon enough after entering an expressway etc etc etc. Sigh.

I suppose I can endure all these.. but what I hate most is when those slow-moving vehicles (read: trucks, vans and lorries etc) want to act ‘say’ and insist on travelling on the 2nd lane of an expressway! That’s what I call road hogging! Imagine all the other vehicles, especially those on the 1st lane go swishing by and there I am stuck at 60 km/h behind such a vehicle! Tsk tsk…

Holidays!

Yeh! Seems like there is nothing wrong with my home notebook today... usually I can't blog at home.. dunno why. Anyway, this ain't going to change my mind on getting a new PC. Afterall, the PC show is on this weekend. I'll surely be there to join in the crowd on Sunday. Today's the official start of my holidays... I still have to go back to school on and off over the next 3 weeks for CCA, admin and some marking etc but I definitely have more time on my hands. Anyone game for KTV with me?
